24/7 SOC monitoring
Cube Cyber's 24/7 hybrid SOC monitors your environment around the clock, Australian analysts supported by detection automation, watching IT, cloud and OT telemetry for the signs of compromise, including the three-in-the-morning hours when attackers prefer to work. Client data is kept onshore in Australia, alerts are triaged by people who know your environment, and escalation follows paths agreed with you in advance.
Talk To Us About 24/7 MonitoringOrganisations arrive at 24/7 monitoring from three directions:
The natural triggers are growth past the point where business-hours coverage is defensible, an incident or near miss that exposed the after-hours gap, insurer and regulatory pressure for demonstrable monitoring, and tool investments, EDR, SIEM, cloud security, that are generating alerts nobody is operationally consuming. Monitoring is also the fastest capability to stand up from our stack: environments are typically onboarded and under watch within weeks, which matters when the trigger was an uncomfortable discovery.
Core capabilities & deliverables
Continuous monitoring
Around-the-clock watch over endpoints, network, identity, cloud and OT telemetry from our Australian hybrid SOC, coverage that does not depend on who is rostered at your end.
Expert triage and investigation
Every alert assessed by analysts with genuine context on your environment, named people, not a rotating queue, separating the incidents from the noise and investigating what warrants it.
Detection tuning
Continuous refinement of detection rules against your actual environment, mapped to MITRE ATT&CK, so fidelity improves month over month, fewer false positives, faster recognition of the real thing.
Agreed escalation
Escalation paths, severity definitions and contact protocols agreed at onboarding, so the 2am call happens exactly the way you decided it should at 2pm, with the right people woken for the right reasons.
OT monitoring
Visibility across operational technology environments through OT-appropriate methods, integrated with the same SOC, drawing on more than 10 years of OT experience and our Industrial Defender partnership.
Reporting and review
Monthly service reporting your board can read, alert trends, incidents, tuning improvements and coverage, plus regular service reviews so the monitoring evolves with the environment.
The service follows the four-stage operating model of our managed practice:
Onboard
Connect telemetry sources, endpoints, identity, cloud, network, OT, and baseline normal for your environment, typically bringing coverage live within weeks.
Tune
Detection engineering against your environment and threat profile, cutting noise before it costs attention.
Operate
24/7 monitoring, triage and escalation to agreed playbooks, with named analysts and continuous communication.
Improve
Monthly reporting, service reviews and ongoing tuning, monitoring that gets sharper the longer it runs.
Monitoring aligns to MITRE ATT&CK for detection coverage, supports Essential Eight, ISO 27001, APRA and SOCI monitoring expectations, and operates under Cube Cyber's own ISO 27001 certified management system, with client data kept onshore in Australia.
Frequently asked questions
Whatever telemetry your environment produces: endpoint detection, identity and authentication events, network and firewall logs, cloud platform activity, email security and, where relevant, OT network visibility. Onboarding maps your sources against detection coverage, and gaps are named rather than glossed, monitoring is only as good as what feeds it.
Yes, our hybrid SOC is Australian, staffed by Australian analysts, and client data handled through our SOC and services is kept onshore in Australia. For government and regulated clients, residency and sovereignty requirements are addressed in service design from the start.
Two things in practice. Our SOC combines Australian analysts with detection automation, people for judgement, automation for scale and speed. It can also mean hybrid coverage with your team: we support your local ICT and security resources who work business hours, taking the nights, weekends and overflow, one service, no gaps.
Triage begins around the clock as alerts arrive, and escalation follows the severity definitions and timeframes agreed at onboarding, critical events reach your nominated contacts immediately by the agreed channel. Precise commitments are set in the service agreement, sized to your environment and risk, and reported against monthly.
Tools detect; a SOC decides. If nobody is triaging at 2am, tuning the rules and owning escalation, the tooling is producing evidence for the post-incident review rather than preventing the incident. We operate the tools you already own wherever possible, the investment is not wasted, it is finally consumed
Escalation per your agreed playbook, immediately, with containment actions where we are authorised to take them, and if the event warrants it, our incident response practice engages directly, the same firm, already holding your context. The handover that costs other arrangements their first response day simply does not exist.
Typically weeks, not months: telemetry sources connect progressively, and monitoring begins as each comes live rather than waiting for the estate to be complete. The first month runs hotter on tuning as we learn your normal, and the service review at the end of it resets expectations from theory to evidence.
